Parts, Weldments, and More

Laser Cutting Icon Laser Cutting: Our high-power lasers can cut steel up to 1.75″ thick, and aluminum or stainless up to 1.5″, on sheets as large as 96″ x 240″. With automated handling, we maintain tight tolerances and handle high volumes with ease.

Metal Forming Icon Bending: Our press brakes form light to heavy gauge material with precision and consistency. Backed by a deep tooling library and material expertise, we deliver clean, accurate results — getting parts right the first time, with no rework needed.

CNC Milling icon CNC Milling: CNC milling at LCNW delivers tight-tolerance, high-complexity parts with repeatable accuracy. We support both prototyping and large-scale production across a range of materials — always with efficiency, flexibility, and precision.

Welding icon Welding: From laser welding to MIG and TIG, our team delivers precise, clean welds on steel, stainless, aluminum, and more. Our four robotic welders — including a 62-foot, three-cell system – provide quality throughput on high-volume and complex parts.

Finishing icon Finishing: From in-house finishing services such as deburring, edge breaking, and linear polishing to managing outsourced surface treatments and coatings, LCNW provides a true one-stop shop through our network of trusted finishing partners.

Assembly icon Assembly: We offer full assembly support — from mechanical fastening and labeling to complex subassemblies and kits boxed for distribution. Our team ensures your product is ready to use, saving time, reducing labor, and simplifying your workflow.

Architectural Fabrication for America

Everything we build is fabricated in the U.S., using workflows designed for accuracy and finish quality. Whether you’re delivering a one-off feature or a full system rollout, we’ll help you fabricate clean, consistent parts—without endless rework or finger-pointing.

Our team works closely with contractors, engineers, and fabricators to keep schedules tight and quality consistent. Our in-house capabilities include:

  • Short runs for mockups and prototypes
  • Production runs for modular or repeat elements

Let’s Build What You Envisioned

FAQs

Are your parts made in the USA?

Yes. Everything we fabricate is done right here in the U.S., with the ability to source materials that meet domestic requirements such as Buy American or DFARS when specified by contract. Mill Test Reports (MTRs) can be provided upon request to support material traceability.

Can you fabricate from shop drawings or architectural details?

Yes, we work from shop drawings. If you’re still developing the shop drawing package from architectural sets, we’re happy to collaborate early to ensure parts are practical to fabricate. Design for manufacturing allows us to quote and produce parts most efficiently.

How accurate are your tolerances for architectural assemblies?

We use CNC laser cutting, brake forming, and in-house QA checks to ensure precision. If your parts need to align in the field—especially for façade systems or visible connections—just specify the tolerance needs and we’ll build to suit.

Do you fabricate custom brackets and support hardware?

All the time. We regularly fabricate mounting hardware, stiffeners, brackets, clips, and embed plates for façade systems, signage, and metalwork installs. If your design team hasn’t detailed it yet, we can help engineer those support parts for both strength and ease of install.

How can I make my part or system easier to handle in the field?

Laser etching the part or panel number is a simple, effective solution. As your system moves through drawing detailing, adding a consistent part tag in a designated area—on a separate etch text layer—makes parts easier to identify quickly. This small step can save hours when locating and organizing panels in the field.

Do you work directly with installers or just fabricators?

Both. While we primarily support architectural metal fabricators, we also work directly with installers, GC teams, and project managers—especially on fast-moving jobs where coordination matters. If you’re installing it, we can help you build it right.

Can I get metal parts coated before delivery?

Yes. Whether it's wet paint or powder coating, we can coordinate the finish through one of our trusted, vetted finishing partners. Just be sure your drawings include the coating specifications, and we’ll handle the rest—delivering clean, durable, finished parts ready for use.

What should I include in architectural drawings

The more detail you provide upfront, the smoother the process — and the better the outcome. To ensure accuracy and avoid delays, your shop drawing should include:
– Part name or drawing number
– Revision level
– Material type
– Dimensions and tolerances
– Hole placements and bend details
– Secondary processes (e.g., tapping, machining, countersinking)
– Weld symbols and locations
– Hardware callouts
– Bill of Materials (BOM) for assemblies
– Finish requirements (e.g., powder coating, plating)
– Notes or flags for any critical features or inspection points

What certifications are required (ISO, AWS, etc.)?

ISO 9001 is a key certification that signals consistent quality management across processes. All of our welding procedures and operator qualification follow AWS standards, ensuring consistent weld integrity - especially in structural, safety-critical, and code-compliant builds. It’s one of the reasons we’re an approved fabricator for city of Los Angeles.

At LCNW, we follow rigorous internal QA practices and are always seeking ways to improve. We take pride in catching non-conformances before they ever leave the building.
